Eu de novo... olhem q bela e polêmica carta um fã do Roxette chamado Markuz, do Daily Roxette, escreveu como forma de "desabafo" aos últimos lançamentos e projetos do Roxette :
" My mind is in complete turmoil. For years, it seems EMI and Roxette have seen us fans as nothing but a joke. As loyal fans, we've been buying every single thing they put out since 1988 but things have gone out of control now. Recent releases have been plagued with manufacturing errors and we can't take it anymore.
We are not talking about a small town band signed to a small independent record label. It's Roxette and it's EMI. That's what makes these faulty releases unacceptable.
I think they simple don't care anymore. They're not hungry now and are not as involved with their releases and "roxette services" as they used to be. Want some examples?
-The Oficial Roxette Fanclub is run by a complete bunch of AMATEURS, making a nightmare out of the shopping experience. Orders tend to get lost or are never shipped on time. Refund? What is that?
-The Official Roxette Website is A JOKE. Sure, it was designed by Per's company. What was it called? Bankrupt studios? Being the official site, the content was never that interesting and was never updated. It didn't even have a message board to make people return to the site or a link to The Daily Roxette - the best Roxette site on the net (nevermind the censorship, but that's a rant for another time).
-Spelling mistakes in several releases. Meny?? Two #1 tracks on the same CD??? Marie Frediksson????
-But the worst thing is the Roxette DVD. Actually, the 2 of them. DVD means quality: mindblowing picture and sound quality based on digital technology. Both releases had nerve cringing errors instead:
-POOR picture quality, even old VHS tapes from 1988 are clearer than the DVD. How stupid is that?
-POOR sound quality, it goes from loud to soft to loud again - in the same song!!
-Lousy artwork, done in a rush.
-Pathetic liner notes.
-"The Pop Hits" title missed out from the back artwork.
-Serious sync problems with the "Really Roxette" docu and some videos.
-Serious distortion and random red/black frames in most of the videos.
C'mon, was it THAT HARD to use "The Videos" LASERDISC as the source for the older videos? Yes, the DVD sucks but they managed to have that Roxette Recordings logo everywhere. I would be embarrased if I were Marie of Per.
We are talking about human mistakes that are independent of money, investments of significant aditional work time. We are talking about some kind of "negligence" or simple incompetent people doing a supposed to be professional work of an internationally known professional band...] Or it could be even worse, people underestimating us, the fans.
All in all, it's hard to believe all this was made on purpose. Maybe Per and Marie are surrounded by a bunch of parasites who present them with a very distorted version of reality (Remember when Per was happy because their management had told him Milk and Toast and Honey was a HUGE HIT in the UK??) Sadly, these self inflicted wounds are going to kill Roxette.
Per and Marie, I ask you: Have you actually seen the DVD you released? Have you tried to buy something from the fanshop and had to wait OVER A YEAR for your orders to arrive? Don't you have a quality assurance department at EMI or Roxette Recordings?
Let's get heard, because as someone else pointed out complaining about this is protecting our own pokets and protecting Roxette in a way.
All complaints should be sent to and focused in one single email address. What about EMI Svenska? It's more likely Per and Marie will get the message...

Detalhe interessante... segundo ele, no novo DVD do Roxette, o documentário "Really Roxette" vem com erro de sincronia entre som e imagem... é mole ? Só o q tava faltando mesmo... ainda bem q importei o "All The Videos" !!
